As families across San Antonio get ready for the new school year — and take advantage of the state’s tax-free weekend — George Salinas Injury Lawyers is giving back to the community it has proudly served for 20 years.
Join us for our inaugural “Ready, Set, School!” backpack giveaway on Saturday, August 8. We’re handing out 500 free backpacks filled with essential school supplies to help local students start the 2026–27 school year with confidence. It’s our way of easing the back-to-school load for hundreds of San Antonio families and celebrating the next generation of leaders.

More Than A Backpack
Every student who attends can pick up a free backpack packed with the supplies they need for the year ahead. But that’s just the beginning — we’re turning the morning into a celebration for the whole family:
- 500 free backpacks filled with essential school supplies
- Free haircuts to look sharp on day one
- Face painting & balloons for the kids
- Snacks for the whole family
- Child safety kits to keep families prepared
Backpacks are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Who Can Attend
This event is free and open to the entire San Antonio community. Backpacks are reserved for local students (K–12) and distributed to the first 500 attendees while supplies last. Families are encouraged to arrive early — and to reserve a spot below so we can plan for a great turnout.
