Professional Experience

Lisette is a dedicated advocate for individuals harmed by negligence, bringing a fresh perspective, strong analytical skills, and early hands-on experience in San Antonio personal injury law to George Salinas Injury Lawyers. Motivated by a passion for justice and a commitment to supporting those facing hardships, she is eager to fight for clients’ rights against powerful insurance companies and corporations.

Lisette gained valuable hands-on experience through various legal internships and volunteer roles, where she supported litigation efforts, conducted research, and assisted clients in diverse settings.  In these positions, she provided high-level litigation support at a plaintiff’s-side personal injury firm and interned at a public defender’s office, focusing on evidence analysis.  Earlier internships with the U.S. House of Representatives and a district court involved constituent casework, observing civil and criminal proceedings, and administrative support, fostering a strong foundation in advocacy and courtroom dynamics.  Lisette has handled a variety of San Antonio accident cases and is presently supporting:

  • Wrongful death claims and more

Lisette’s favorite pastimes include running, graphite drawing, and antiquing with her family, which underscores her disciplined, creative, and family-oriented approach.

Education

Lisette graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law and excelled academically, earning the Law Faculty Award for Academic Excellence (highest exam score in Mortgages & Real Estate Finance) and a Dean’s Scholarship. She demonstrated leadership as Secretary of the Personal Injury Law Association, where she engaged with topics central to advocating for injury victims. Additionally, as a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and a Tax Preparer in the St. Mary’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, she honed skills in client interaction and ethical advocacy essential for personal injury litigation.  In undergraduate studies, Lisette earned a Bachelor of Arts, English Literature and Political Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.  Her dual major equipped her with advanced writing, critical thinking, and policy analysis skills—key for crafting compelling legal arguments, negotiating settlements, and understanding the societal impact of personal injury claims.
