Marcelo Galvan III
Trial Lawyer
Marcelo Galvan III is a dedicated personal injury attorney at George Salinas Injury Lawyers, where he leverages his background in civil engineering and trial law to represent individuals harmed in motor vehicle accidents.
Operating out of the firm’s San Antonio headquarters, Marcelo provides a unique, analytical perspective to personal injury litigation, combining meticulous technical detail with a compassionate, human-centric approach to advocacy.
From Engineering to Advocacy
Before his legal career, Marcelo earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. This technical foundation changed the way he views legal practice; he doesn’t just see a “case,” he sees the mechanics of how an accident occurred, the forces involved, and the evidence required to prove fault.
After graduating from St. Mary’s University School of Law, he cut his teeth in the public sector at the Webb County Public Defender’s Office. Navigating the high-pressure environment of criminal law in his hometown of Laredo taught him a fundamental lesson he carries into personal injury today: the law is the only shield an individual has against the power of a larger institution.
The Firm’s Strength, The Lawyer’s Edge
Marcelo is a pivotal member of the George Salinas Injury Lawyers team, a group defined by over 125 years of combined legal experience and a track record of recovering over $100 million for injured victims. While the firm’s massive victories, such as the $7 million and $6 million settlements in landmark 18-wheeler cases, set the standard for what we achieve, Marcelo’s value lies in his personal application of that experience.
Marcelo understands that insurance companies operate on rigid formulas designed to minimize payouts. Because he has spent his career dismantling defense-side tactics and the aggressive nature of plaintiff-side trial work, he knows exactly how to identify vulnerabilities in the defense’s narrative.
Whether he is appearing in the courts of Bexar County, Travis County, or litigating across Texas, he bypasses the “stuffy lawyer” posturing. Instead, he focuses on clear, factual, and tactical advocacy that keeps the mission of his client’s recovery front and center.
A Relatable, Human-Centric Practice
Growing up in Laredo, a border city defined by both its resilience and its economic disparities, Marcelo developed a deep sense of social responsibility. He saw firsthand how easily people can be overlooked by the system, and he built his practice to prevent that from happening to his clients. He is known for being:
- Genuine: His laid-back, approachable demeanor is not a tactic; it is who he is. It allows him to connect with clients on a level where they feel understood, not just “processed.”
- Transparent: He believes that an informed client is a better partner. He takes the extra time to explain the why behind every motion, every negotiation, and every strategy.
- Driven by Relationships: He finds the most fulfillment when a former client refers a family member to the firm. To Marcelo, that is the ultimate metric of success—it proves that he wasn’t just their lawyer, but their advocate.
