    Professional Experience

    Scott Mechler was born and raised on the southeast side of San Antonio. Indeed, his San Antonio roots run deep with his family having lived in the area for over 100 years.

    Scott earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Northern Colorado and moved back to San Antonio to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, Scott was on the St. Mary’s External Advocacy Program mock trial team and competed against other law schools from across the state and the nation. As a result of his successes, he was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers for his outstanding advocacy skills.

    Professionally, Scott has handled personal injury cases of varying complexities ranging from simple automobile wrecks to complex commercial wrongful death cases all over the state of Texas.

    When not working hard for his clients, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Scott also has a passion for history and vintage aircraft. He even obtained his private pilots license when he was in college. With a commitment to service, Scott and his wife started the Lyra Lionheart Project after their daughter was in the hospital due to a serious heart condition. The Lyra Lionheart project brings much needed toiletries and supplies to families staying in the PICU and NICU at various hospitals in San Antonio.
