New Way to Potentially Diagnose Traumatic Brain Injuries

We are excited about the development for a new way to potentially diagnose traumatic brain injuries. At George Salinas Injury Lawyers, we work on behalf of clients who have suffered traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) that alter their lives. Due to symptoms that often go undetected until many months following an injury, the Banyan Brain Trauma Indicator has the potential to assist with immediately identifying those who may have suffered this type of injury. The blood test identifies levels of proteins released from the brain due to intracranial lesions but must be performed within 12 hours of the injury producing event. This is an important step in our field and in the field of medicine that could potentially assist us with understanding and treating brain trauma because of accidents.
